Before these lids, we were using Ball plastic lids with a hole, a silicone grommet to hold the airlock, and a silicone sealing ring to make them airtight. Eventually, the plastic would crack or break, and it was fussy to assemble all the pieces. This single piece of silicone replaces the lid, grommet, and sealing ring! They are easier to use, easier to clean, & way better looking!
Made from 100% food-grade silicone rubber and 18/8 304 grade stainless steel.
